Q&A

Q: Do these products contain THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)?

A: No they do not contain THC as our CBD raw material is chemically synthesized from terpenes extracted from orange peels.

Q: What is the recommended CBD intake?

A: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), CBD is safe and well tolerated up to 1,500 mg per day.
However, we recommend that our customers start with a small amount for a period of time, such as a week, and adjust progressively the dosage according to their body’s needs, rather than taking a large amount suddenly.

Q: Can I safely take CBD during pregnancy and lactation?

A: Since CBD remains an unknown ingredient at the moment that is still in the research stage, it is not recommended to take CBD during pregnancy or lactation for now.

In addition, the FDA, a government agency under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, states, “Animal studies have shown that high doses of CBD administered during pregnancy can cause problems in the reproductive system of male fetuses. We also expect that some amount of CBD would be transferred to the baby through breast milk, even if the baby is breastfeeding.”

Because of this, the FDA strongly recommends that CBD, THC, or marijuana not be used in any form during pregnancy and lactation.

Q: Can children consume CBD?

A: Although CBD is known to be pretty safe, it is still difficult to say whether it is completely danger-free for them or not.
We address this information to parents or children’s representatives so that you can make an informed decision.

In case you would decide to try, we advise you to choose at least CBD products that do not contain THC (which is known to have psychoactive effects), heavy metals, pesticides, or other ingredients that may be harmful to their body.

Q: Are there any dangerous side effects while taking CBD?

A: As said earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) reports that “CBD is considered very safe and well tolerated in a wide range of dosages.
There are no major public health issues and just a few or very mild side effects have been reported so far.

However, CBD remains a component with some little risks.
For instance, ingestion of CBD may cause to some consumers a hyper relaxation and intense drowsiness.

If you would experiment similar side effects, we recommend that you refrain from driving or from having an activity that requires a high level of attention.
